Introduction to Painting with Acrylics with Peg Kane
This class will introduce basic techniques and materials used in acrylic painting. Participants will learn the fundamentals of composition and color while working from observation. This class will also introduce participants to the use of various mediums and glazes used in painting with acrylics.
4 Tuesdays from 1pm to 2:30 pm at Munroe Center for the Arts: 10/26, 11/2, 11/9 and 11/16. For this class at Munroe, participants must be able to negotiate one flight of eight stairs.
Jewelry Making with Andrea Karis
Join jewelry designer Andrea Karis for this four-part jewelry workshop and learn to design and create unique pieces with wire, beads and other embellishments using a variety of techniques.
4 Tuesdays from 10am to 11:30am at the Senior Center: 10/12, 10/19, 10/26 and 11/2.
Basic Drawing with Sue Funk
This class is for those interested in learning to draw. Using graphite and paper, students will discover the basics of composition, line and form while working from observation.
4 Thursdays from 10am to 11:30am at the Senior Center: 10/14, 10/21, 10/28 and 11/4.
