To continue to establish quality community outreach and arts education programming, ArtSpan announces our Teen Arts Collaborative (TAC) coming fall 2009. This new initiative will provide a structured and creative space for Lexington's teens to imagine and develop a wide variety of art projects and events for the community, such as temporary public exhibitions and installations throughout the town and events like fashion shows, performance works, or readings.The TAC will also self-publish an art 'zine to be distrubuted in town.

The TAC will be an inclusive program providing safe creative space for a diverse group of learners and teen artists, and we will work with various organizations and school departments to ensure that students who are seeking and needing more in the arts will find their way to the TAC, including students seeking portfolio development for college admissions, young artists who create non-traditional works, and kids who need a safe place to be who they are.
